Tender and Negotiation
We ensure maximum value is derived from our competitive tender process

Tender Process

At PES we have in place an infrastructure that allows us to fully utilise our extensive knowledge of the entire tender process. This ensures that our clients and potential clients are always provided with the best option that is suitable to their needs and requirements.

As part of the process your existing utility suppliers will be invited to tender, as well as other suppliers approved and vetted by PES. Offers can be then be provided, to suit your particular portfolio. We cater for all energy purchasing methods which include Energy only, Fixed price, Flexible contracts, Green energy or a combination of the aforementioned. Information on the best contract packages and time duration will be provided to you for your consideration allowing you to evaluate the various options available.

Tender Evaluation

As part of the tender procedure, notification will be provided to our clients, of all correspondence relating to the negotiations of supplier offers, progress of the tender process can also be tracked via the ‘LIFECYCLE’ tool on our SMARTVIEW web portal. In addition notification will also be provided to utility suppliers upon receipt of documentation.

Professional Energy Services will evaluate the offers and summarise on a ‘like for like basis’ the impact of the offers on our clients existing pricing arrangements. As part of this evaluation, proposals will also be put forward relating to any commercial benefits that may be gained by the grouping of certain locations, or company groups.

Throughout all stages of our tender procedure you will be involved in the decision making process and you the client will make the decision on which supplier and term suits your requirements.

Awarding of Contracts

The contracts will be awarded to the chosen Utility Suppliers via a negotiation process. Our aim is to provide you with all the information available in order to allow you to make an ‘informed’ decision for the purchase of utilities, in what are currently volatile and uncertain markets.

Post Contracts

Once the contracts have been awarded, Professional Energy Services will then oversee and monitor the nomination and registration of all supplier contracts and any issues that arise as a result of the placing of contracts.

On completion of the tender process a report will be provided to you, our client, outlining the results of the negotiations and highlighting any major achievements or changes, in comparison to the existing purchasing arrangements.
